Find a local beautiful waterfall. I have friends in GA that did that a couple of months ago. It was beautiful & simple!

I'm not sure if this will help you, but here goes!

Okay, the son of a friend of mine had a beautiful, inexpensive wedding a couple of years ago.

The ceremony took place at one of our pretty local parks, on one of several small islands that are connected by bridges. Afterwards they had finger-foods in the pavilion that they had rented for the day. The pavilion was decorated with a "Fall" theme.

The groom wore regular pants and a shirt (imagine Errol Flynn as Robin Hood) and the bride looked beautiful in a long sleeved bugundy dress with her hair down and she wore knee high boots.

The whole thing was unique, tasteful and the handful of guests really enjoyed themselves. It was inexpensive too.

It wasn't a Traditional wedding, but it was lovely and they are still married - which is more important than the actual wedding!

Depending on where in Oklahoma you live, you may want to think about the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. It would surely be very beautiful for a fall wedding when the hardwoods are changing colors or in early spring when the flowers first start to bloom and leaves start coming out. I am sure you could find a nice area near a stream to gather some immediate family members and a few friends. Good luck.

How about the Botanical Gardens of Wichita? It's really cute. Don't know about the price though. I know that Wichita is only a 3-4 hour drive from OKC, so it may be nice.

Or Old Town in Wichita? (As you can tell, I'm from Wichita). How about Cheney Lake? There are some waterfalls in Oklahoma. Can't recall the name right now.

A Justice of the Peace will sometimes travel for a nights lodging, a meal and small gratuity. I am happy to hear you are keeping it small and intimate. Weddings are such a huge industry and are way over rated.

find a park, a nice casual dress, friends and family, then go someplace for a nice dinner- maybe get a banquet room of a restaurant, some of the nicer places have them, and have a after wedding dinner
