go to all the Disney parks - very fun. You'll also want to go to Downtown Disney (no admittance fee) to shop a little - window shopping is fun, and Gloria Estefan's Cuban resteraunt called Bongo is there - very good food - a little pricey, but they give you a LOT!

All the parks are good - we spent a lot of time at Epcot and my 8 year old loved Mission: Space. We had lunches and breakfasts with the characters - which you DON'T have to do at the castle. We got right in to the one at the resteraunt adjacent to the castle (name escapes me) and the food was awesome - the characters were there, and we got to get autographs and take pics with all of them.

Epcot is great, Magic Kingdom is a ball (old stuff, but it's fun).

I highly suggest getting passes for several days - park hopper if you think you might go to more than one park per day - but otherwise, the regular 4 day pass, or whatever, saves you money and time in the long run.

Good luck! It is a lot of fun!

I have to disagree w/ California Adventure, we went once, I wan't impressed - there's a nice muppet movie though and a lot of playhouse disney type live shows. I wouldn't go back to CAdv for a while is all I'm saying - I'dve rather spent a 2nd day at Disneyland.

Disneyland hasn't changed a ton, all the old favorties are there, the tea cups, it's a small world, splash mountain has a nice drop, star tours - you don't need us to tell you, check out the map and plan it out ;). Pirates of the Caribbean ride has been updated to reflect the movie now. Your child will love Toon Town - do not miss that ;)
