He'll ask how far I went with my man, etc. I tell him it is none of his business. So, he thinks there must be a lot happening. Anyway, he is telling me big stories about his sex life. I don't know if he is telling the truth or if he is just trying to make his life more interesting that mine. He never talked about these things until I started dating this guy. What do you think?

Im thinking that he secretly likes you and probably always have and now he feels threatened by the fact that you are moving on with your life and have a new BF. So he thinks "Maybe if I try to show her how awesome I am, she will want me instead." I went through a similair situation wth my Best friend.
I've know him my whole life since we were little tykes. And hes liked me ever since about middle school. I know this and I really feel that he doesnt know that I am aware of his feelings. I have been with someone for 4 1/2 years now but when I was single he made every attempt to ttry to take me out, talk himself up just like your bestest. They just want you to finally notice THEM and not someone else.

Do you know if he's ever had a crush on you before? Maybe it could be a little case of jealousy. He feels like he needs to compete with the other guy for attention and your time. If he's a really good friend, you should beable to tell him that you are uncomfortable with him being so open. He should understand.

He may feel jealous and that he has to compete for your attention. If you are offended tell him you really don't need all of that personal information and that you are not willing to provide that kind of info either. Good Luck
