I am going to NYC with my wife this weekend and am looking for a romantic place to get drinks before or after dinner. Preferably in walking distance. We are eating around 2nd and 53rd. Any suggestions?

Probably one of the most romantic bars in NYC I've been to is Flute -- a little champagne bar near Union Square that has little nooks and crannies to get lost in.

The W Hotel on Lexington between 50th and 51st has really great lounge areas. There is a second floor that over looks the the bar area on the first floor. There are comfy sofas, candles lit throughout the dimmed area, and they play exotic lounge music that can really put you in the mood!!!

ummmm.... i dnt think of that is in midtown manhatten... i dnt even kno the place that is!! i bypass to vast apple each summer season and evry time i bypass I could bypass to EJ's they hav the excellent hamburgers and fries u could ever devour!!!! idk the place that is tho its EJ's luncheonette google it..... ur going to b happy u went there if u do...
