Somebody asked a similar question last week. My suggestion was that if your grandmother is a real techno-sazy gearhead by all means go digital. However, if she's not computer firendly a digital camera might not be a good choice. There are still quite a few really good 35mm film point and shooters out there at great prices. Getting a film developed with a set of prints is pretty cheap and not as intimidating as trying to figure out technology you're not comfortable with.

There's a lot of easy to use cameras out there, just get her a point and shoot...

Well, if she lives in the cave like you, she'll need something with a flash. If she wants to take YOUR picture, she'll need something that captures infrared, 'cause you're GONE!

You could always buy a disposable camera, they are pretty cheap, and they work great!
