I don't think it's a question of faith so much as the court system.what are they doing to punish people who commit these violent crimes?when they get serious,then maybe crimes like rape will be a thing of the past.

You can't end rape. rape is the product of freewill. Freewill allows people to do whatever they want. Religon shows it evil but that don't mean people will stop doing it.

people who commit those kind of hideous crimes don't know anything about faith! rape is a crime of power and violence! it has nothing to do with faith. those monsters need more prayer than i can provide in my lifetime!

They were trying to stop rapists but rapists kept complaining that they were, "...shoving religion down (our) throat..." So, the athiests and pagans told them to stop.
