I have had this zucchini for like 3 weeks, the first 1 I kept in on the counter but the i put it in the fridge. Today I finnally decided to use it to make bread, but I have absolutely no experience w/ zuchinni. It feels a little soft and I am trying to shred it and it is shredding into basically mush (no seperate strands or anything like that, just a soft glob) and is really watery. Also I don't know what the seeds are supposed to look like, but some of them look a little green. Like I said, I have never done this before so I don't know if I am just stupid or way too cautious. HELP PLEASE!!!

sounds like it is overripe as long as there are no reddish spots, white ,or black spots there is no mold.Chop it up and and mix with handmixer with the rest of the recipe ingredients and bake,it should turn out just fine.

you need zuchinni to be firm. sounds like it's time to throw that one out.

if it is soft it is old and needs to be thrown away. a fresh one is hard to the touch

No good! It is bad!

It should be firm.

I always refrigerate my squash as soon as I get it home, and try to use it ASAP!

Sorry! Hope you don't get sick!
