Take a tea bag, wet it so it doesn't stick to your gums, bite down on it. One hour off, one hour on, until the bleeding stops.

Be sure that when you change the gauze that the fresh gauze is damp. You don't want to put in dry guaze because it will pull out the clot and make it bleed more. If after a few hours this isn't working at all, try the tea bag trick. Again dampen the tea bag and bite on it for 45 mins. there is tannic acid in the tea bag that will help to form a clot. Be sure not to spit, smoke, drink through a straw, if you have to sneeze keep you mouth open, etc. don't do anything that is going to cause a sudden pressure change or you could force the clot out and have to start all over. I don't know if you are on an aspirin regimin or any type of blood thinner, but if you are you should consult your dentist and doctor about possibly stopping that for a day or so. If none of this works, call your dentist and talk to either he or one of his assistants, that's what they're there for. Good Luck hope this helps.

Take 3 of the cotton guaze they gave you and fold it a few times. Place it on the extraction site and bite and hold it for 1 hour. Yes, it will wet and squishy but that's ok. If after an hour you are still having "active" bleeding, ie: lots of bleeding, bite on a wet tea bag for 45 minutes. Lay down on the couch while you are doing this and just take it easy. It is very normal for an extraction site to have some bleeding for a few days but you shouldn't have any "gushing" of blood.

depending on the proceedure they can bleed for quite some time especially if it was wisdom teeth. Put a tea bag in place of the gause it will help stop the bleeding.

just continue to add pressure with the gauge. if you continue to bleed one more day, go see the denstist. it might be something else causing the bleeding. you can also try squeeching water around and spitting it out. the bleeding should stop in a day or two.

how long ago did u have them pulled out sometimes its overnight before it stops completely dont suck on a cigarette or a straw the sucking action will cause the clot to come out and cause dry sockett. that hurts worse then the tooth u had pulled. if its been more then overnight u need to call your dentist and have him look at it

Black pepper is a natural blood coagulant. take a pinch and apply directly to the bleed and allow to clot, then don't tongue the clot. Allow it to stay until it naturally falls away. If it starts to bleed again, repeat until healed enough to not bleed.

i had my wisdom teeth pulled and they bled for most of the day. didn't completely stop until sometime during the night. you should probably sleep with a towel over your pillow.

I'd definitely call the dentist back and get it checked. And lay off any aspirin or blood thinners until you do.
