I want an LCD TV, with a screen between 36" and 42". No smaller, no bigger. Our room is very bright, so I need a screen that looks good in the light. I also want a TV that will be reliable, and under $2,200. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Never buy a tv off Ebay or online .If there's any dead pixels you're screwed .Always buy directly and even ask if set can be tested at store .I bought a Sony KDL-V40XBR1 after reading many reviews .I paid 3000$ last march but i think the price went down to around your budget .One big issue with large LCD's is contrast and brightness .I viewed many and went with the Sony for the better contrast and viewing angle .Hope it helps .
