No, but I cut up a towel once and wrapped hair around the strips of material, then tied the material at the ends. That worked REALLY well. My daughter was really little but had very long hair, and it made "ringlets."

Not really, but i think when u get the hair dryer on top of it, it become hot n it gonna hurt the skin. have u tried it?

Yes. I left them in too long and they rusted, so I had the added bonus or red highlights.
