If i buy a car in Ohio and i live in Michigan can i drive the car i just got back to my house with no plates? or would i have to go pay for the car and come back to michigan and get the plates for the car? please help i don't no how that works?

They will provide you with a 20 day out of state temporary license and they can mail you the originals. You cannot drive the car without a temp.

Yes. Every state allows about 1 month to get the plates. AS long as you carry the proof of purchase with you that states the date it was bought.
