yes, since all things were created by God, including gravity. If God had to put all the scientific data in the bible, it would get way too long and nobody would understand it, since it would contain way more complex science then we have today even. Evolution does not take anything away from God creating us, it is just our understanding of how he did it. Since time does not effect God (God is above all laws since he created them) evolution to him was just a single instant, while to humans it took a long long time.

The "theory" of gravity has not been proven. While there is gravity, what causes it is up for debate. I propose it is the loving Flying Spaghetti Monster's Noodley Appendages pushing down on us and keeping us from flying into space. The evidence for this is overwhelming. People are growing taller and taller. This is in direct relation to the earth's population, as there are more people, the FSM can not push down on us with as great of force since there are too many people to push down on. This does not mean he loves us any less, there are just too many people. Well, he obviously loves midgets more, but they are the chosen ones.

OMG Xians can reproduce gravity now! Why isn't this technology on the space shuttle? They are far too advanced!

Evolution is a fact. The Theory of Evolution is only a theory. That humans evolved from lesser life forms is considered a fact by all reputable scientists. The exact steps of the evolutionary process are the only things debated. Xians have spread lies about this excessively. "Christian Science" is an oxymoron. Even the Vatican recognizes evolution as fact. The fundies think the Catholics are going to hell anyway.

"why are there still monkeys?" The theory(ies) of evolution does not state that humans evolved from monkeys! It states that monkeys and humans evolved from a shared forefather. Xian fundamentalists seem to love spreading this little bit of misinformation while sitting on their tailbones. Where did that little ole tailbone come from, anyhow? Probably from the same place that the fundies think all these "fake fossils" came from.

I can show exactly how gravity works with an experament you can repeat. here it is drop an anvil from shoulder hieght onto your foot. Every time you will notice that there was some force between the earth upon which the measuring device (your foot) lays and the anvel which is attracted by the earth. actually they both attract each other but that would take a much more saphisticated experament.

Note this shows that gravity exists, it does not explain it but we know it exists

If you can develop a repeatable experament showing that evolution in a verticle fashion exists or will or has happened then I will believe it

HOWEVER EVEN IF YOU COULD SHOW THIS THERE WOULD STILL BE THE QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT GOD USED THIS NATURAL PHENOMINA TO CREATE THE LIFE WE SEE HERE ON EARTH. HE COULD HAVE DONE SO IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT MUCH EASIER THEN IN OUR ENVIRONMENT

Gravity can be proved by the scientific method.
It can be observed and reproduced.

Can you say the same for evolution?

Where has evolution been observed?
Who can reproduce it?

Also evolution breaks the laws of entropy. (that system go from a state of order to disorder)

I know a lot of people want to believe in it past the point of reason. I guess it is their religion.

That should be the case.

Evolution is considered science's best founded and most well supported theory: more so then gravity even.

And for the idiot above who says their is no evidence:

Every dog on this planet is a product of selective breeding from wild wolves. Wolves ==> Dogs.

Evolution proved.

What does dog breeding have to do with evolution? They are still dogs. If through selective breeding, you can change a dog into a cat or a horse, then I would believe.

u can see the evidence of gravity but there is no proof or nuthin about evolution so that was a pointless question

How does gravity work?If you know the science world would like to talk to you.

OK, fine. Evolution happened. Happy now?
I'm still a Christian and always will be.

is your copy of the bible signed by Jesus? For all you know, it was written by some random dude and it blew up into what it is today...no concrete evidence at all to support the writings....go evolution.
