When the Hebrews first imagined Yahweh, they imagined him on the the top of Mt. Horeb. When more people climbed the mountain and found Yahweh was not there, they imagined he was in the sky. When man took to the sky and penetrated space, they imagined heaven in an alternate dimension outside out space and time. Every time people imagine God someplace, go there and find no God, they immediately imagine another place outside our reach for God to be hiding. Occasionally they wise up and realize we find no God because there is no God to find.

My favorite bumper stick reads:
"I Found Jesus!"
"He was hiding behind the counch the whole time!"

Sure. God's got a great sense of humor. Ever see a balloon whiz around the sky after it's been poked with a needle?

Oh my, are you bored or something? Unfortunately none of us can ride up there and see Him. But there is good news, He can live right in your heart and when he is there you can talk with him every day. Isn't that great. I wouldn't waste another moment if I were you.

Be very careful with your foolish notions. God just might pop your balloon.

[Mat 12:36] I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak.
[Mat 12:37] By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

THAT REALLY ISN'T FUNNY. WHEN PEOPLE THAT HAVE NOT ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOR DIE AND GO TO HELL , THEY WILL BURN FOR ETERNITY, AND I GUESS THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE GOING. I HEARD IT'S REALLY, REALLY HOT THERE. SO I ASK YOU DO YOU REALLY WANT TO POKE GOD'S EYES OUT NOW ?
