It is a punctuation mark that signals a full and complete stop in a grammatically written expression because a complete thought has been expressed. The small dot at the end of each of these sentences is a period.

You should talk this over with your mother. And I know, this is a subject everyone is afraid to answer as it is "something we don't want to talk about with our mothers". Look up "menstrual cycle" on the computer. This will tell you all about it. The "period" is when you are on your menstrual cycle. You can start your period at any age between 9 years old up to 18 years old. Every person is different. It comes once a month. Learn all you can.

A period of time just about every twenty eight days when a woman's body pumps blood that comes out of the vagina.
Sometimes it's painful, sometime's it's not.
Either way, it happens, deal with it, go talk to your mother/aunt/father/sibling/ friend about it.
And lyssylove..., I suggest that you stop talking like a two year old.

The symbol placed at the end of a sentence.
Or a women's monthly cycle. Depends on how it is used. Take our pick.

The end of an imperitive or delclarative sentence. Or a woman's menstruation. Or a length of time.
