Being a Southern born gal, transplanted to the cold of NW ohio, I love my sweet tea and have my receipe down to an art. Besides water, it is all that I usually drink in the summer.
Some fast food places like Lee's have it, but they just dump a bunch of sugar in it.
You have to boil the water, melt the sugar, add the tea bags and let it rest for a bit.
Yummy!!!!!

In my experience, this is a southern thing. True sweet tea addicts also know that trying to dissolve sugar (or worse, Sweet and Low) in unsweetened tea is not possible and only instant tea is higher on the "Just Don't Do It" scale.

Yes, I'm from Florida and that's my favorite drink. lol. Sweet tea, and it has to be just right. Not made the ghetto way with pounds of sugar..it has to be balanced. Put a lemon in there and I'm in heaven.

I was the queen of sweet tea! I used to make big jugs of it and take it to school cause if I only took a little, my friends drank it all! But , when I was pregnant with my first child, I hated it! It tasted like syup all of a sudden. Now, I switch back and forth and have even gotten used to drinking it with Splenda to watch my weight.

I prefer my tea loose - from a tea shop - pure or with a tad of milk. I think sugar just kills the taste. If you drink a lot of sodas, it may make it difficult to get away from sugar. It's a killer - loss of taste and ultimately disease.

Me. I love Darjeeling tea with sugar and a 'spot of milk'!
Occasionally I love Jasmine green tea without sugar/ milk.
