I wash my ears more than once a day, so dont tell me its a hygeine problem or something. Whatever it is I cant seem to fix it, and its pretty embarassing to have people telling me that my ears have black dots in them.

Those are blackheads. Try an skin cleanser made for acne. I'd try something with with salicylic acid. Also, a product that uses AHA will help.

You probably have a form of acne called, "blackheads". It is very common in teens and young adults. This skin problem is caused by increased hormones and sweating. Blackheads are open pores of the skin are enlarged and fill up with body oil and bacteria.

Please avoid irritating your skin by using harsh chemicals or scrubbing the skin too hard!

See a pharmacist for help in choosing an over the counter remedy. Also, for more information, check out Yahoo!Health, keyword, acne.

If you use an over the counter remedy and it doesn't help and/or makes your skin problem worse, see a doctor! 'hope this helps!

It's possible they're just blackheads - if you're prone to acne, no matter how much washing you do it won't help if it's with the wrong kind of soap. Do you have problems with acne elsewhere?

You could try using an anti-acne wash or creme on them; that may help.

I asked a question like this a few weeks ago. The best answer I got was to get the inside of a fountain pen (the tube part) center it over the black spot and push. Someone will probably have to do it for you. He said they do that in the Marines.
