looking for a good cheap run around car dont really want to have to put too much in to it though, tried the auctions its out. any ideas? or personal sellers out there in the l.a or o.c areas of california out there?

Check out craigslist.org or Ebay.

If you have checked Ebay then check your individual city auctions, they tend to have cheap cars through there.

After that then stop by a few dealerships and find out some of the used cars in their lots, most of the time dealerships will give you a better price if you say, "well this dealership is giving me this".

I don't know why you would want a Japonese piece of sh1t but check www.craigslist.com

Jap cars go down hill from the time they drive off the lot that goes for American cars that are made in Japan like ford focus and other cheap american cars.

carmax.com, or look on the internet sales at car dealership first because its usually $5K cheaper then take into dealership to negotiate from that price. Or check out your local police auction, They tend to have old imbound cars from drug bust, dui, etc.
