Ra, The Sun god (or any egyptian god)
Top 3 Reasons to believe:
1. Hieroglyphs describe Egyptian gods which PREDATE christianity and islam BY THOUSANDS of Years.
2. The Great Pyramid still stands. Surely this must demonstrate the awesome power of those who BELIEVE and worship these gods! With our modern machines, Man still can't match this awesome structure!
3. Modern City names were named after places, that were named after places, that were named after other places that go all the way back to egypt! For example "memphis, Tn". Did you know that 5,000 years ago, upper and lower egypted merged and the capital city was known as "memphis"?
Look around, the evidence is everywhere! Why will you not convert to the OLD religon?

"Choosing a God" isn't like going to an ice cream store, "hhhhmmmmm, which flavor should I choose today?"
There is only one God. I read some else's reply, choose one that fits your spirit. Each of us have the Holy Spirit that dwells inside of us, once we get to know God we mature and grow in our faith. This in not a thought to take lightly, choosing a God. We are all children of God, our God is a loving God, he wants you to know him, he knows you well, he wants you to love Him and yourself through the Bible.
Deut. 5:7 You shall have no other gods before me. That is one of the Ten Commandments.
I hope and pray you attend a church that teaches scripture from the Bible, Gods Holy Word. God Bless

Christianity. Ive read all the "holy books" and Christianity is the only one that has any substance to it. The others speak about abstract common knowledge issues such as "peace is what we should strive for". Well obviously we need to strive for peace but there is a reason we were created. It is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out every religion and you'll see what I mean. And I mean, really look into all of them and study them before making a decision. Good luck.

The best thing to do is to research all of them and find which one suits your spirit.
For instance, I just learned that the Mormon religion started when God supposedly asked a human named Mormon who lived in the Americas in the 4th century to write a book.
I am sorry but the only people living in the Americas during the 4th century were the natives....and I do not think any of them were named Mormon.
...see what I mean?
You will be able to determine which one you find credency in and take it from there if it leads you into the right direction.

Historically, theologically, and philosophically:
a) Choose the god who can bring about the future.
b) Choose the god not dependent on humanity for getting around or being around.
You are wise to identify the plethora of gods in this age.
