i m a student currently persuing mca and is member of placement committie of my coll. can any 1 help me by providing the name of some good IT companies those recruits freshers. if possible provide me with the contact no. of some IT ppl with whom we can have a talk abt placement activities

All IT companies recruit freshers. U should also contact placement service providers. There are plenty and presently they will be more than happy 2 conduct campus interviews in ur coll. If u can't find them out just mail me. I shall give u a few names. There is always Monster, Jobstreet.............. There's nothing wrong with ur communication skill or grammer. Just try to know ur subject properly. I know lots of IT people who have poorer communication skills and yet drawing salaries in the tune of 30,000 or above. With an MCA degree u r not really going to b a call center guy? So just read ur subject and develop sound skill set. That will do.

It reflects poorly on your organizational skills and your ability to think logically. That is not what employers are looking for in a new IT hire. Before you graduate, take some english courses and study like your future depends on it, because it does.

what u need is just keep your eye on newspapers like HT's PowerJobs on tuesday and TOI's Accent on wednesday and post your resume on internet too and keep visiting sites of these companies as they recruit freshers time to time
as freshers are cheaper chickens then experienced ones as they are fresh out of educations and are looking for their first break so they dont charge like experienced ones does thats the reason these companies' growth is so fast....

Nice move nehaa, but i guess, this search won't work. Try to advertise in some Free Ad newspapers in your city, or in some classifieds columns, then u can get a lot of responses.... tata
