an apport is something physical being brought from the spirit world
there has been cases ( and i know of one personally ) where people have been buried with a ring on ... only for that ring to turn up on a beside table at a time where the person grieving needs reassurance
the most common of apports are flowers and feathers

There is "apportion" which means to divide out or share. Have not heard of "apport" however.

No. I have never had anything "magically" appear in my hands or around me by a "ghost."

I did find some old coins in a box in my grandmother's house when she died last year.
But it seems to refer to thing appearing like magic or being moved around by annoying ghosts.
