What would stop them from on the coast of Texas and California? We all have seen the boats going to Miami from Cuba and Haiti what makes you think our amigos to the south couldn't do this?

I do not live near the border and killing is still illegal ( See I follow the law ) Second deer season starts on Sat in Ohio. I am too busy with that.
It is a her not his. And I DO NOT LEAVE ON THE BORDER. I can not just quit my job to go shoot illegals. That is still illegal.

We have better security for our coasts, but you are right that we need to increase security there as well.
Either boats or tunnels would significantly decrease the flow, however. Think bottle necks and units, rather than a free-flow wave.
I read recently about a little league diamond in an Arizona border town that had to be closed because so many illegals ran across the field during games. They kept having to stop the game and wait, and finally they gave up on the diamond....

theyll probably find a boat. they already thought about the tunnel idea. i was watchin the news a while ago n they found this tunnel that led from one house in mexico to another house in this country. it was a pretty big tunnel too, u just walk right through it n there was lights n everything! illegal immigrants would go through it. it was pretty crazy! they only found one so who knows how many are out there!

Well if my country was a pile of steaming crap I know I would do anything I could to make a better life for my family. America was founded on that principle. You have no right here if you believe otherwise. Unless you are native American pack your sh*t and move out by your own argument. I will trade every worthless welfare recipient, for every hard working illegal who wants to make a better life for their family. Instead of deportation let's try transplantation. They come and work, we remove the lazy scum that won't, and we can call it The North American Fair Trade Act. I know that would make me happy. Sadly,they have ALREADY found many tunnels into the U.S. from mexico!!!!
The only way to STOP illegals, is to SECURE the borders,JAIL and FINE the employers who hire them, JAIL and FINE those landlords who rent to them, STOP any and all welfare benefits to illegals, STOP the anchor baby bullshit, SEIZE all the assets of anyone in this country ILLEGALLY, and make it a FELONY to be here illegally!!! And,anyone who has EVER,i repeat, EVER sneaked into this country, should forever be DENIED citizenship and all that it implies!!!

The wall would slow them down. We would also have electronic surveillance equipment if we are serious about protecting our boarders. The coast guard would be responsible for the coast line as it is now. We have to stop this massive influx's of people from south of our boarder, as once we control the boarder we then can process the true workers from the freeloaders.

It would definately help, but it wouldn't stop them completely. Half the problem is how WELCOMING we are to illegal immigrants, we stand with our arms wide open and give them everything they could possibly need to survive without speaking a word of our language. Free EVERYTHING. We need to build a wall to show them they are not welcome, except through LEGAL means, and we need to prosecute everyone hiring illegals. Just for a start.

The big point is whether or not the United States has the right to control its own borders. mexico/mexicans seem to think we don't.....
which is why we're getting all the criminals, druggies, perverts, welfare immigrants etc. up here in the US.
It's not our job to provide for the mexicans, its the mexican governments' job to take care of their own people, rather than always shoving their surplus population onto us.

The problem with killing them is that it's illegal.But wait,isn't what they're doing illegal,too?Why is it ok for them to commit a crime but Americans get punished?
They commit their crime because they say they want a better life.Isn't the same thing true for someone who robs a bank?
