Yeah im fasting and i went on the scale and i weigh 7 pounds less than i did 3 days ago, did i just loose water weight or fat

You only lost water weight and this will come back once your are done fasting. Depending on your reasons for fasting, a diet of healthy, whole foods without any processed stuff is a great way for a detox. Plus, once your done the fasting drinking enough water on a regular basis will help you to keep your water retention levels down - thus you will feel less bloated or anything like that on a regular basis. If you fast for very long you are going to start losing maybe some fat but also healthy tissue and muscle mass.

It doesn't matter if you lift or not. If you aren't getting proper nutrition you are going to lose muscle mass and have a hard time gaining more because your body needs nutrients and energy from food in order to go through the process of making a muscle.
