It is not good for you. If you want to be healthy, don't smoke.

Smoking DOES shorten your life. That I can say for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if every time you smoke you take 5-10 minutes off your life.

Of course it shortens you life span but if it "knocked off" 10-5 minutes every time I smoked I would have died at 27.

Those are averages, of course. You can't say that every time a person smokes they are shortening their own life by a certain number of minutes. Some smokers might live to be 100. Some may die of lung cancer in a year. Smoking affects different people differently.

Sorry, and I don't mean to sound rude - But where have you been? Under a rock?

Smoking most certainly takes years of your life. And it also takes years of those around you.

It's so additive that it's hard to quit. But try with all the power you can muster from within. It's worth it, not only for you, but those who love you.

Yes, smoking causes and contributes negatively to all sorts of health issues, thus shortening your life.

And the saying I heard was "7 minutes off your life for each one".

Don't smoke...it's harder to quit than cocain or heroin (or so I've been told) and it's expensive and it stinks.

I have heard that but can't back it up with evidence at this moment. HOwever, what I can back up is that it makes you ugly. Deep little crows feet around the mouth. (Your mouth begins to look like ..well anthother hole you have on your body! Sorry so graphic but it is true. ) It breaks down the collegan in your skin which causes wrinkles!

And when your 50 & look 70 ....u will have this wornderful raspy little shrill & deep voice to go along with the face.

What a fashion statement hugh?

Not only does smoking hurt the user - it hurts those around them too. How this product is still on the market is beyond me.
