I know personally fears and phobias can affect a person's life. I have been told millions of times to just buck up and do it, for me it's going to the dentist.

So if this is a true question place a mirror on the shower wall that shows the whole bathroom. Or you could get a glass shower curtain or door so you can constantly see what is in or out there.

To cure this fear, the next time you feel it, you must stay inside of the fear... and then it will go away. This is easier said than done, you'll want to flee. Do not. Stay in the midst of your fear.

put bells on your doors so you can hear if they are opened, that way you can rely on your other senses to take care of you and don't have to worry about someone sneaking up on you. .... something along that lines should help.. maybe one of those little cheap alarms parents can buy to put on their med cabinets that are loud as hell if it's opened and you can arm it while in the shower...
