If you have great light in your bathroom, I would suggest an orchid. They look stunning in smaller spaces and really add a lot to the room. Plus the humidity of the shower is wonderful for them.

There's nothing wrong with putting plants in any washroom. Actually, aloe plants tend to thrive in a full washroom -- they love the humidity from the shower. Any plant of an appropriate size would work. If you want you can even hang a spider plant in the powder room off to the side from the mirror. Go shopping for a plant and look at different leaf colours and textures; when you have found something you like just verify (either by reading the tag thing in the plant or by asking some one who works there) that the plant doesn't require too much sunlight or grow too large.

You did not mention how much natural light is in your bathroom. But two plants that I can think of are ferns and orchids, they both love humidity. The Phalaenopsis orchid flowers last for weeks and come in many colors. With a little care you can get it to rebloom. Trust me if I can you can too. You can find Orchids at farmers markets and most stores now. Make sure when buying a orchid plant that you get one where not all the flower buds have opened, this will give you more time the have your plant in bloom.
Enjoy

Yes, that would be fine. Get an Ivy or Fern. Maybe even a aloe plant. U could use it also if needed by breaking one of the leaves. U might want to even try an African Violet plant or a small Palm plant. In general, most small plants work.

Plants are lovely in bathrooms and usually do quite well with the water and humidity there. I personally like live plants used in every room of the house. They just make the house more cheerful and add an element of the outdoors.

Sounds nice -- ads life to a room that we all know why were are in there -- if you know what I mean. The African Violet is a beautiful plant -- it doesn't take up much space and usually you can find the pretty pots for them to go into -- most African Violet pots are two parts...and aren't high maintence. Not to mention... cheap -- nice on the budget.

A plant in any room immediately livens it up and will release more oxygen into the air.

Select a small Pothos plant. They do very well in poor lighting.
