Motrin is best pain reliever. Aleve i heard has serious side effects. Remember the hoopla a few years ago with Aleve.

Aleve is a good product. Keep in mind that it was developed for arthritis pain. Too much can cause stomach bleeding, which is true of most over the counter pain medications.

Don't know if a study has been done, but my wife swears by Aleve when she hurts her back. She would have to take four tablets of Motrin just to take the edge off, but she says two tablets of Aleve does the trick.

For me it works better as an overnight pain reliever. I've taken it during the day and haven't had much luck with it and then because it lasts so long, you can't take anything else. I has worked for me overnight though with stuff like back pain. If I were to use it again, that's what it would be for.

I have Fibromyalgia (chronic pain: for me, in the neck, shoulders, upper back)
When I first switched from Ibuprofen to Aleve, it was great.
It reduces the inflammation that causes any sort of pain.
Yeah, it's good.

Yes it is good, but I heard that prolonged usage can damage your stomach.
