I have had dreams since I was very young and have lived to see these dreams come true. I do not, dabble in any kind of spiritism and do not have any occult items around. Is this from a good source? Why does this happen to me? I think my relationship with the Lord is the motivating factor in my life, so why is this happening ?

I don't know what you dream was, but I do know this. I have had dreams come true, good and bad, sometimes God uses dreams to incourage and to warn. " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight( or will direct your paths)."Proverbs 3:5-6.

There are many gifts of the Holy Spirit. Knowledge, wisdom, prophecy. They are in the bible. Check 1 & 2 Corinthians. Dreams are also mentioned in Revelation.

Just don't assume they are gifts.

It is important to use proper discernment with something like this. If you're a Protestant, you're going to be missing some handy tools like Holy Water and Blessed Salt - to make sure you aren't having some sort of demonic night attacks. I have a friend who went to Medjugorje and now has visions of death all the time. That's demonic.

Often what seems good is just to lure us away from good. So discernment is a must. Pray, pray, pray!! Ask God for a clear sign that the dreams are from him. That you are a prophet and not under spiritual attack.

I went to a christian school when I was growing up and had a dream I was in an odd place there and couldn't understand why.
Sometime later a kid cut his arm real back the teaches ask me to sit with him while they got stuff to stop the bleeding.
That's when I realized I was in my dream, me and him were in the same odd place with the same things going on around us.
I'll never forget that.

I somewhat lost faith around that time because the people in the church seemed to turn against me.
It was about ten years before it came back, I've heard that the ones closest to God are the most tempted by the Devil.
I still don't trust the church and never will again but I've become closer to God than I ever thought possible.

I'm also a Christian, and have seen dreams that in time became reality, i'm not sure what it means, but i think most things, if not all, sooner or later lead back to a good source :P. As to why, i cannot explain this either :( But feel blessed i say the lord works in mysterious ways.
P.S. we should chat sometime about these dreams.

Yeah it's happened to me and a lot of people in general. Having dreams that come true isn't a sin, because you aren't seeking out the future or anything like that. It's not a negative thing, so, don't worry about it.

Yeah, this happens to me too, and I call it a deja vu -- that's my best explanation for it. It's not like cataclysmic events or anything, just snippets of time that happen in my dreams that take place in the future.

Don't skitz out. If you were having prophetic dreams, you would definitely know the difference.

Though I have never had it happen personally, I have known people whose dreams have come true.

This is nothing to be scared or ashamed about--it's actually a spiritual gift. God may use you at some time as a vessel for a message.

Be open and willing to listen when He calls, and you'll be fine!:)

In Christ,
Kas

Simply...that your dreams came true.

Why does there need to be any deeper meaning? Do ALL of your dreams come true?

What would be the purpose of a god telling you the future...just so you would know...or to change it?

Like most religious people that have dreams/make predictions...when it happens, it was from their god...when it didn't, it's forgotten.

well, this is what comes to mind!!!! And how awesome and cool is that?

Ac 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Because God has called you to be a prophet. You are going to attracted people to God and give them hope. You see things in people lives that are hurtful and depressing because God wants you to give them hope. Do what the Lord says and tell people about God mercy.
