Well you definitely want to eat something that will digest slowly and give you continuous energy UNTIL LUNCH. Oatmeal and a whole grain english muffin with peanut butter on it always worked best for me (thru college as well...our team's strength & conditioning coach said that was as good as it gets for an energizing breakfast). Make the oatmeal with skim milk and top it with some honey and sliced banana (or any fruit). You must still eat a good lunch, because no matter what you make for breakfast the energy is only going to last for so long.

At the organic coop by where I live, they sell these yummy energy cubes made with all-natural ingredients like carob, oats, nuts, etc. They're very dense and delicious and stay with you a long time. Nuts are always a good idea. I also like those energy drinks that are like smoothies. I think the brand is "Naked." They contain lots of nutrition and come in a variety of flavors, and again, are natural. Hope that helps.

breakfast can only give you energy until lunch time then you should consume more food for more energy. I suggest to have an instant breakfast type drink and maybe a protien bar if time is restricted for breakfast

I eat oatmeal almost everyday, and put in a little bit of honey for taste...very yummy. Sometimes I put in raisins for variety. It gets me through to lunch time. =)
