Well perming and coloring are two totally different things....but coloring your hair is less damaging then perming. Perming breaks and dries your hair, etc

I think getting a perm would be cool but when I was in high school I did all that and really messed up my hair yrs worth of damage finally I got sick of it frezz and it was just a mess so I cut it off real short and the rest grew out and then I cut it off until I had all new hair now my hair is natural but there are ways around dyeing hair and perming like curling irons and fanci full
fanci full is like a hair dye but without all the damage you just put it in your hair and whenever your ready for a change wash it out!
Seriously doing stuff to your hair is a big mistake unless your very careful...

Go for the color. It is less damaging and a little color can make a huge change in appearance yet be changed back easier than a perm if your not satisfied.

There are few people out there that look right with a perm, so I would go with a different hair color.

They are 2 totally differn things...perm makes it curly...color is 'color'.....why not get both if you can decide...you can color it 1st..but the perm will take some of the color out...or wait a week after the perm to color it so it wont fade

If you use a really good hair color like L'oreal Creme, it will actually make your hair fill smoother and fuller. If you perm it you have a 50-50 chance of frying your hair. What would you choose?

what type of look are you going for. If you are not sure it's easier to change hair colors you don't like then it is to undo a perm

Changing your hair colour can make all the difference. Have it done professionally if your going lighter, Remember if your hair is coloured dark and you want to go lighter it has to bleached, colour won't lift colour. the perm thing is so 80's. And everybody looks good when they use hot rollers.

Definetly color. Perms fry your hair. But so does bleaching your hair....
