Yes, you should work really hard to break them up and once you get him, watch your back. What goes around comes around. There might be some biatch like you who will try to break you and him up. And if it's so easy to get him to break up with someone, he won't be strong enough to resist the next time some chick tries it!
Oh, and you'll probably lose your friend.. and eventually him, so don't expect to have friends to cry to when you've been dumped.
