Journalism and Editors training obviously.
English and Speech/Rhetoric wouldn't hurt either.

I worked on my college's paper for two semesters and I had a great time. Definetly work on your schools paper if they have one, the training and the experience are unbeatable. Will look great on your resume as well.

Good luck first of all.
English and current affairs are important in terms of what to study, and any industry-recognised journalism courses after school. In the UK there is the NCTJ (National Council for the training of Journalists).
Get all the experience you can. Work for your school and college papers, get work experience anywhere you can. Don't expect to be writing the front page though, but all experience is good for your resume.
Also don't expect to become a Magazine Editor without a lot of editorial and possibly management experience under your belt. Editing a magazine is a lot about managing budgets and motivating staff; there's very little writing for most editors these days.
I hope you achieve your goal.
