My boyfriend and i are getting married hopefully the spring coming up but i have the challege of combining greek, italian, and spanish traditions into one wedding. My family is spanish fom spain , costa rica and france mix. My boyfriends family is Italian but he has a greek grandmother . Where can i find ideas for the wedding?

Pick and choose what you like about the Spanish, Greek and Italian traditions and music. Then, incorporate whatever you like. There are no set rules. Remember to honour those people who have travelled and play some Greek, Italian and Spanish music for your extended family members. My suggestions, a lot of classical guitar for the ceremony music, Gypsy Kings would be great and enjoyed by all 3 cultures, Italian classical for the cocktail music is a popular choice anyway and have Greek, Italian and Spanish instrumentals for dinner music. They actually run nicely together.

Try to incorporate as much as you can from your two cultures. And maybe even include a theme about something that brought you together
I'm African American/Catholic and my husband's family is Scottish/Lutheran. We met on vacation in Jamaica.
We had a Catholic Church Wedding, at the Beach Themed reception we did a Broom Jumping Ceremony and his Scottish Cousin wore a kilt. My only regret was that I was unable to find a bagpipe player in San Diego.
Sure it was a hodge-podge but we still get letters a year letter from friends saying how cool it was that brought everything together.

You don't have to mix everything!! Or you could have like the tradition christian wedding ceremony, italian food, and so forth. There are websites that you could try to go to. Ask your fiance and your family to help out with suggestions.

Just go with traditional wedding food. Nobody would feel offended that way. You can incorporate your heritage on the wedding favours, the music and the decorations.
