2 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
2 t. sugar
1 t. salt
1 to 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
6 T. melted butter

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and fluff with a fork. Slowly and constantly stir in 1 c. of the heavy cream. You can add up to 1/2 cup more, if needed to hold the dough into a ball.

Lightly flour your counter top and turn dough out onto surface. Knead one minute. Form into a 1/2 inch thick square and cut into 12 squares. Dip each biscuit into melted butter, covering completely. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet and bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.

they go great with.....

"Good Brown Gravy....."

"Well, you can eat it from a biscuit, you can sop it from a pan,
You can lick it off your fingers when it's running down your hand.
If I could get a notion I'd start a big promotion
I'd put it in a bottle, call it Biscuit Lotion"

Courtsey of Joe Diffie

OOhhh...gotta make a RL run for Cheese biscuits.

Also good with Bacon, Eggs and grits with just a bit of honey on them.
Or Sausage, Gravy and biscuits.

Or if you don't make them like grandma, you can use them as hockey pucks.

Great smell coming from the oven as you walk up grandmas porch on a cool fall day.
