Depends on what sort of dog and what you like. How about a sweet name like treacle. Or if its dark furred blackjack. If it's one of Those spaniels with bulgy eyes you could call it popeye! Poppy is good for a girl. So many you could call it I may have to answer again. Colin for a boy? My silly hubby said Andrex. Or name him after your favourite celeb.....how about rooney or halle.
Or you could be comic and call it hamster, or rabbit etc.

The name should fit the dogs personality. Syrus is a tough name. Here are a few that are cool, I think
