ok, this seems awful right now, but I promise, it can be fixed before Friday....there are temporary hair colors now that are vegetable based and have no peroxide. Find a good reputable hair salon and ask them about it..then in a few weeks when your hair is stronger and in better condition, go back to that same reputable salon and have them fix it the way you want it. you may have to go darker for a few weeks, but it's better than the orange/yellow you have now. Perhaps when you go for the correction you can get a foil, this will be better for your hair and also give it a more natural look....I feel your pain hon, when I was in hairdressing school (a lifetime ago) I volunteered for bleaching....I looked like Vince Neil from Motley Crue for a few days...then it was so bad that my hair was falling out...had to have it all cut REALLY short....but on the upside hair grows back....it doesn't sound like you burnt it, it's just not the color you want! :) Best wishes honey!!

No, you don't have to wait. You go back to that salon and complain. They have a hair color stripping or they could bleach it out, Since i don't know what your hair color was before? But, if you are not happy with color, don't be embarrassed to say so especially to the hair stylist. Go back and ask for the manager and tell what is wrong. Or if you don't want to hassle or hate confrontations, call another local salon and ask to speak to a hair stylist, not the receptionist. Tell them the problem and that it is an emergency! Hope this helps, i had a friend have the same problem.

Go back to the salon, show them the results and either get your money back on the spot and go somewhere else or have it fixed by a different stylist at the original salon. Your hair will not fall out. There may be spots that are very damaged and pieces of hair will break giving you the "frizzy" look, but your hair will be intact. Make sure to use LOTS of deep conditioners. Try Kolestral by WELLA. It has worked wonders for me when I was in your situation!

I'm not sure, but if you do it again, read this.
If you want to dye your hair the thing to do is choose a color no more than two shades lighter or darker that yours- it will always suit you. That way your skin and everything won't totally clash with your new hair. Choose it carefully because the wrong one can make you look worse than you may think you already do.
If you want highlights (lighter streaks in the hiar) or lowlights (darker streaks) you can go up to four shades different with no consequences.
There are also different things you can do for different coloring types (like how long they last, etc...)

I would definitely contact the person that did your hair in the first place and tell her that you are not satisfied. She should offer to fix it for FREE. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to fix it yourself!!!!!!!! make sure that you do several deep conditioning treatments on your hair before you do anything else to it, to try and prevent hair breakage. I would ask for a good "toner" (semi-permanent hair dye....beautician talk) to be put on my hair if it was light enough. Don't wait too long though, because you don't want to deal with dark roots growing out on top of everything else! Oh, it probably wouldn't hurt to get a good trim too, to get the damaged ends (from the bleach) off.

Go back to the salon and speak to the manager, this happened to my wife once, we went back and got a full refund and had it fixed at another salon. (she refused to have it done again at that salon. She said the people were too busy chit-chatting and not paying attention.)
I raised holy hell about it, I was extremely pissed (my wife was in tears.) That sort of thing is negligence, plain and simple. By the time we left we had them offering us $150.00 in products if I would just shut up (their customers were walking back out the door as soon as they saw/heard what happened.)
hehe.

definitely go back to that salon. they have to fix it. if you dont want to that definitely go back to a better salon that knows what they're doing. go right away!!! you dont have to wait. just tell they new person you go to to do a strand test under all your hair. that should tell you if it will fall out. trust me it shouldnt. i've dyed my hair 4 times since june. just make sure you use a hot oil treatment twice a week and lots of conditioner.
