That's great Ned, but try to stay in sync and on focus, or maybe to be fair I should explain to EVERYONE who responded, that I was just trying to get you (everyone) to realize and feel the Joy of serving others. Whether it be a memory from days gone by, a current situation, or a self-promise to do better tomorrow. They all revolve around HOPE. Anyone care to argue the Value of Hope? Of course not, cause we all know that without HOPE most everything would collapse under the weight of the threats we are facing as a nation. Yeah. That means the right to believe as we choose, and the right to TALK about it. The only "THEY" is/should be the terrorists. "THEY" do not support our right to have this forum, have personal beliefs etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. ... get the point?

I think the most christian thing I or any other christian can do is to be accepting of others and be non-judgemental. It is amazing how after you get to know someone you come to understand why they are the way they are. Every person has their story and their dignity and if we listen we can realize that to love our neighbors as our selves is actually easier than we think if we stop judging and start listening.

Why is it that doing the nicest deed is mostly referred to as Christen. People of all persuasions do good deeds.Christians make up only a small percent of the populace,I'm sure. Are there no Jews, Muslims,Atheists or any other beliefs that are trying to help their fellow man?Aren't we all the same? That's my deed every day. ' I am no better than you and you are no better than me.' I'll help people and expect nothing in return. They don't have to know it was me.

Public PREACHING is the essence of Christianity, and the most Christian of deeds.
Of course Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!
But the biggest proof that Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians is their PREACHING work.
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do pious wanna-be's try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because these hypocrites recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Well, anything done in love for others is a Christian deed. If of course you are a Christian. Today, I am doing some housework and cooked several meals for my family and am just visiting with them and we're all hanging out around the house.
Tomorrow we are making brownies for our pastor just to let him know we love him. Sometime next week we are going around and inviting people to church.
I think all are important, family time, encouraging and appreciating our church leadership, and inviting others to church

If you have something you don't need and someone else needs it, give it to them.
If someone has a problem and needs to talk to someone about it, listen to them and try to help them out.
However, to talk about your good deeds can take away from the riches you build up in Heaven.
Do so, only to glorify God and to not boast of yourself.
For as we are told on Ash Wednesday "When you do good works; do not boast about them as the hypocrates do." "I assure you, they have already been repaid."

I spat in the face of a young girl going into an abortion clinic today. I also threw stones at some homosexuals who came to my door collecting for Aids Victims in Africa and I told a disabled woman that she had been cursed by God.

Jesus taught many religions and parables, some Jewish and many other eastern tales
