Me and a friend are thinking of putting together a webpage for gaining information on the criminality and corruption of what was once Great Britain. Many of us now have been a victim of Crime and the police have been trapped by government legislation to protect us.
These men and women are our protectors and deserve our respect. But at the same time maybe we should stop fearing crime and fight back. A lot of crime is unreported because we fear reprisals.
By creating a webpage to describe our encounters; where, when and how, maybe we could help protect each other from the evil and find the evidence necessary to defeat them, without fear of said criminals taking revenge.
I was considering a page on myspace as most of us already have one. But any other suggestion and opinions are always welcome.

It seems like a very good idea - not necessarily on a MySpace page because that website is encountering a lot of problems recently, due to mass traffic.

As for the "unreported crime" element - well someone's already beaten you to that, I'm afraid. The British Crime Survey is independent, impartial and takes place every year. They don't reveal people's indentities, and they often record a far higher level of crime than the Police statistics do.

I'd go for your own domain just to be original and not rely on a host site. That way you can promote your own link, and ask friends/family to put banners up on their own site to raise awareness of your one.

Good luck '_'

I think it's a great idea. A bit like an internet Neighbourhood Watch, it can only do good I'm sure.

I think you should go for a web page rather than a myspace though as it would be difficult to have a forum on there. I only have knowledge of my own myspace though so I dont know exactly what could be done. I know a lot of people have myspace but your still limiting yourself to people who do.

I think you should have a catchy website too something like 'fightingback.co.uk'. You could utilise your myspace though by promoting it. It would be good to have a site that has everything on it, personal experiences, helpful telephone numbers and real statistics etc etc. I would definatly be interested in a site like this. Well Done!!!

People would be less inclined to fear Criminals if our Justice System worked correctly instead of being tied down by Politically Correct people and those in government who are incompetent or to afraid to amend the Human Rights Bill for fear of upsetting those who manipulate it for their own ends.
Its a Good idea, but our Government is responsible for Law and Order and basically while most law abiding Citizens support the Police, the Government as let us down.

Yeah, I say go for it.

If you can gather enough evidence from the public, maybe you could influence some of the ridiculous ideas the politicians and judicial system have when it comes to sentencing criminals - their rights are ALWAYS protected but rarely are the rights of the victim protected.

Good luck and let us know.

I think that what you are doing is a very wise decision. Knowledge is power, and if everyone knew about what you feel strongly about then you could possibly start some sort of judicial revolution - no longer could prisoners live in plush cells paid for by the taxpayer and the victim would become the victim once more.

i think that is a great idea. you are right, most people don't report crime because they are afraid of the attackers. your web page would be a great idea. the amount of crime in great britain is becoming more and more and soon we will be overrun by corruption. By all means, put this website together!!! it will help the british people understand more about crime and maybe do something about it.

sounds like a good idea.
Let me know when you set it up I will tell my friends to come and share.
We do need to do something.
One of my friends phoned up to report a prowler last week and was told that the police could not arrest someone Just for standing in the garden looking in her window! Apparently A crime has to have been commited before the police can act.
The guy had come through her gate got onto the lawn and walked around the side of her house he was tresspasing. and peeping through windows.

Its all right speaking on a web page there can be no fear of reprisals if the said speakers are anonymous but protecting each other leave it to the professionals.

The UK is one dangerous place.

The problem with Europeans is that they wait for the government to solve problems but the government only creates more problems.

Yours is a great idea because it involves citizens taking charge.

Americans fear for the UK and Europe because they are being ruined by socialism and immigration in which the immigrants don't share the love for your culture, history and ideas.

I hope the British and Europeans DON'T EMIGRATE when many more Muslims try to impose Sharia law in the next few decades - STAY AND FIGHT for your home, country and ancestors!!!!!!

Crimestoppers and various other anonymous 'snitch' amenities already exist. If a criminal knows who he's done something to and then gets busted, surely he would suspect that person (his victim) whether it was them who snitched or not.

I don't have a MySpace page and I don't want one, but I suppose if your idea helps one person avoid danger (particularly naive kids) then it might be worth while.
