This works best on curly or naturally wavy hair. While you can do it on dead-straight hair, it takes a lot of expertise.
1. Wash your hair out the day before your special night out. Some styles work best on hair that's got a little natural oil in it-and this is one of them. Now lightly spritz the hair with setting lotion; it should be damp, not wet.
2. Take a section of hair about one inch wide and wrap this sideways around a hot curling iron. Hold for ten seconds.
3. Remove the iron, but don't brush out the ringlet yet, coil it back up and secure it to your head with a bobby pin. Repeat this around your whole head and leave it for 10 minutes.
4. Gently unwind the curls and comb through them with your fingers.

This is for cascading curls, I have more full and wavy if you prefer.
(This is from the help of a book).

It's best if you don't use any heat, buy rollers. Roll it side ways for spiral curls, roll just the ends for loose curls roll sll over up to the roots for tight curly look, roll under, roll over for a flip style.
