Run hot water in the kitchen sink. Hold the jar so that ONLY the metal top of the jar is in the water flow for about 30 seconds. Wipe it dry. Should open right up.

Put it under a tap of hot water for 1 minute. That will cause the thin layer of rubber to become soft which will allow you to open the jar. If all else fails use a Bowa-Constricter (Tool for opening all shapes and sizes normally found in your local hardware store).

run the lid under hot tap water for a few seconds then try it . Run under hot water again if it doesn't work the first time. You may need a little bit of strength. GL

get a spoon and put it under the top so that you get air in the jar... the little thing in the middle will pop up once air gets in and it should be a lot easier to open... good luck!
