as humans we have a built in radar and system that does not allow for us to be alone.... some never find that one true love, but they are still not alone, friends, family, etc..... we are not built for solitary exsistances..... we need and crave anothers effections and trust and care and love..... we crave it from birth to death..... and yes it is better to have loved .... that is how we grow and learn, even in the most painful of situations..... with each relationship we pass thru, we learn things about ourselves and others..... what to and NOT to look for in the next one, and then when the RAEL thing comes along we just know it..... hope this helps and you understand ........ God bless

Love is a beautiful thing. Yes, I would rather have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. Love reaches out and touches your soul. Love is an emotion that is greater than any other, and love has its lessons.. we learn and we learn, with every good bye we learn. Yes, folks that don't love miss out on so many levels.

I think it is better to have lost and loved than not have loved at all, because you still had the experience. At least u loved someone. like with my case..i've never loved...and that makes me really sad because I don't know how it feels...

I think it's better to have loved and lost (I mean real love, the enduring kind) than never to have loved. If one never has the chance to experience it, one will always wonder what it felt like.

i think that love is something that we should all experience so it is better if we love and lost than never to love at all. so that we have a feeling of what love feels like

Yes, it's better to have loved and lost. Each experience or relationship is a learning experience that teaches you SO MUCH about yourself. They all lead you closer to "the one". Otherwise, how would you know what you wanted in a relationship or what you couldn't deal with?

its better to be loved and lost b/c the next time around you are more prepared than one who has never loved.

I've been told it's better to have loved than lost, but I've loved and lost and it sucks.

Love is so great, with the media today everyone has to be familar with what love is. I think it would be more depressing to have never be loved, its not that you wont miss you, its the fact that you never had it!

I'd rather not have loved. I would not want to go the rest of my life without the one I love.
