I know there is a Beagle. And I know there is a separate breed called a Bluetick Coonhound. However, I have had some people tell me that there is now a breed, recognized by the AKC I assume, called Bluetick Beagle. My cousin's dog may be just that type of dog. How could we find out?

I don't think it's a breed. It's just a beagle with color. Just like a Chihuahua. There is no teacup breed or anything like that. They are just Chihuahuas.
