My dog, Jimmy is so fluffy and cute! But he wont stop jumping on people everytime they walk in the door. how can I train him to stop doing that?

Put your dog on a leash in the house when you go to the door. That way you will be able to control him and get after him for jumping.
Make him sit and then open the dog do not allow him to jump up on anyone and have them greet him and give him affection only when he is sitting and being good not before.

Train him to "sit" as a greeting instead of jumping up. Have someone come to the door, and have him do a sit. If he gets up, put him back in a sit, praise and treat while he sits.
No matter what, no one should show him attention when he jumps up. No petting, touching, talking. Have the person he jumps on turn and walk away without giving him attention.
Soon he will realize that sitting politely gains rewards of praise, treats, and attention, and that jumping gets him ignored...

What kind of dog is Jimmy? If he is a working dog, then he's probably hyper because he is not getting exercised properly. Working dogs need to be worked - they need to go outside and do lots of exercise and activities. Otherwise, they will freak out.

When your dog starts jumping on people and yourself train them and you to cross your arms, turn your back to the dog and ignore it. the more you tell your dog NO! and DOWN! the more excited it will get. It will also encourage him to think that doing this will get him attention. Hence why you ignore them. It will take time but he will stop.

when he jumps up, lift up your leg so that he jumps into your knee.. this puts him off balance and he will go back to the floor on all fours.. when that happens, praise him like crazy.. every time he jumps though, raise your leg.. he'll get the hint eventually

holp him back. but dont hit him becaues he will think he it geting hit because he is happy. he just saying hellp make him sit or lay down whan some one comes into the door
he just want to be frineds with people that come to your house
