I agree, I completely understand. I want to scream every time I hear a member of the god squad say " look around you, god is everywhere". There is no logic to the arguments. Don't try to find it. They are brain washed sheep that refuse to admit it. As for the second question. It sound fun but a bit expensive over time.

I totally understand you and I think a lot of us feel the same way. I believe that every little bit of evidence helps though. We feel like we're saying the same things that everyone's heard a million times before, but I guarantee that a lot of people have never heard the arguments that we give even though we've heard them ad nauseum. Converting someone can't be done in a few days, it takes a long time to negate all the brainwashing they were brought up into. When I was a Christian, I didn't want to read any books on evolution or anything that might make me question my faith. I was scared of hell and doubting is a sin according to the Bible. If a person believes that hell is a real place, there is a lot they will deny to keep from going there. People like us are the ones who are going to make this world have a future with the religious in the minority.

it does not state in the bible that earth was created 6,000 years ago and i don't believe that earth was made in 6 earth days. i believe that earth took thousands to millions of earth years to make. i believe that the days that are listed in the bible for the creation was to show the steps that he took and why the 7th day of our week should be our sabbath and a day of rest. and if you have seen the bullsh*t episode of the creation. they guy that states that we evolve from a monkey is a theory and doesn't have any proof, is an idiot. the light we get from the sun is a theory. the earth being round is a theory. anything in science and fact is a theory. i believe that the way the churches are acting today is the same way that they acted when everyone else thought the world was flat while Christopher Columbus thought it was flat. and how the ocean boils at the equator. god states that we should gain knowledge about ourselves and our earth and to take care of it. scientist are studying the earth and the solar systems. and their are a lot of religious scientist out there doing what god stated we should do in the bible. i say keep your morals high and stay christian. but don't believe what they say about today.

Hi! My suggestion would be just to rest for a few days. When we go on vacations, we take a break from our PC's too for several days, so take a rest from it. Read a book, take a drive, go to a movie (if you can find one worth watching), get an ice cream. Just do things that involve not thinking for a while. Give your mind and body a break. But please, don't give up what you believe in. That is the enemy making you think those thoughts and he wants you to feel all beat up over this. Don't give the enemy any say so. Get up and resist the enemy and have some fun! Look for the beauty in nature. I pray you come back refreshed. :)

Lighten up dude!!
Look, if you come here trying to make great points and win people over, you should pull that wire out of your computer now and save yourself the time. You are going to start to sound like a raving lunatic if you keep it up.
I only argue because it is fun and it keeps you thinking a little. Very little, but it beats being bored. I skip the really stupid questions, or make fun of them, or give them a very short one line explanation.
The monkey thing I would say:
We don't come from monkeys. or Well of course we come from dirt and magic of course. That is it. Anyone who thinks we come from monkeys directly didn't listen when they were taught it in school, so what makes you think it matters how you answer it now.

You are relying to much on everyone else. Live your life the way you believe and choose, let others do the same. If you don't believe the same thing, fine, find some other common ground.
Don't give up on who you are, what you believe just because the world is telling you that basically it's "not cool".

Yes, by all means, do give up on religion, but instead find out exactly who Jesus actually is and what He is looking for in a relationship.
Here's a URL that may help. You can read the text or listen to the mp3 download.

You are asking about giving up religion then say I may take my own life.....yet you think you are still fighting the good fight??? I have no idea what your religion is but its NOT about fighting, it's not about answering everyones questions.
You have to do what is right for you, and if I were you I would surf www.beliefnet.com it has all kinds of different religions, and it's a very comforting and informative site.
Apparently you need to be grounded and rooted, and know what you believe in and why, if not, you will fall for anything that comes along.

Just keep fighting the good fight! We need all hands on deck! If we all gave up (and trust me, I do for a few days here and there), they will think they're right and that we've given up.
Just give it a rest for a few days... ignore if you have to... recharge and then come back fighting!
