They are fighting fire with fire, so to speak. They feel if they use science (bend it, twist it) to make their point, then scientists must fall over, cave in and agree with them. Fortunately, science can't be manipulated like scriptures can and the truth will always come out in the end against whatever science they've used.

Science can neither prove nor disprove the existence of God.

A creation 'scientist' is no scientist at all. Not because he believes in God, but because he's already drawn his conclusion. He has a bias and so he may overlook contradictory information and suppress legitimate data in order to support his ideas.

The same can be said of anti-creation scientists or anyone who tries to use science to disprove God.

It's illogical. God is said to be:

1. Omniscient.
2. Omnipotent.
3. Self-willed and works in "mysterious ways".

So what test can any human come up with that could isolate these variables? Are you going to ask him nicely not to interfere with control group "x"?

Both camps are charletons and should be laughed out of town. Science should never be asked to validate religion, because what then would you have to put faith in? Likewise Religion should never validate science. If that was practical we would still have a geo-centric universe and a flat earth.

Any scientist who does either is an unscrupulous hack.

Those who have choose not to believe are never happy. If we give an example of faith you want science and if we give an example of science you want faith..........

Because they know that they are on really shakey ground and it makes them feel more secure.

If you read the Bible story, it is obvious for many reasons that it couldn't have possibly happened that way. Wouldn't that bother anyone who chooses to belive it?

God didn't set us adrift with no reason for faith. There is no proof but there are reasons. If you want to hear them email me I'll send them to you.. It's to big a file to include here... Jim

Science poses alternate hypothesis to their preexisting paradigm. If they don't incorporate it, it provides a stand-alone alternate.
