I'm sorry if I sound disrespectful. But, I'm really trying to help.
First of all; your call for people to the faith is in a false manner. There is no biblical authorization for a 'sinner's prayer'. A 'sinner's prayer NEVER SAVED ANYONE.
Secondly; what kind of response did you expect on here? Most people that responded think the question is disgusting.
Those that didn't find disgust in the question all differ on what you SHOULD have said. One said, you missed requiring knowledge, one said you missed the boat (only 144,000 get into heaven to the Jehovah Witnesses), and one said you missed the Holy Ghost (Pentacostals require this).
THIS IS EVEN MORE DISGUSTING. And this is just a tip on the iceberg. There are hundreds of different WAYS that man has come up with pertaining to the gospel.
But, you know to Christ, there is ONLY ONE WAY to get into HIS church. He said that, I didn't.
You and most anyone else probably don't want to hear this; but for the sake of someone who could use the knowlege, I write:
I do know for fact, that no one can independently read the Gospels, Acts, and the Epistles, and legitimately come up with an example of anyone being saved by "saying a sinner's prayer", or any direction from the scriptures for christians to be saved like this. Futhermore Jesus never told anyone to "say a sinners prayer".
What you WILL find, is people being admonished to, "repent, confess, and be baptized, once they hear and believe the gospel. After hearing and believing the death, burial, and ressurection of Jesus (the gospel). One must submit to obedience to the gospel. If one is taught ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES, one will ask, just like those first century christians did in when they heard Peter preach the same gospel in Acts 2:37;
"Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, MEN, AND BRETHREN, WHAT SHALL WE DO?"
Peter did not tell them to, "Say a sinners prayer". [Why not Peter?] Because, THAT'S NOT THE WAY.
Peter told them in the next verse, Acts 2:38 "REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ [Why Peter?] for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
They heard, they believed, no doubt they confessed jesus was the Son of God, they were told to repent and be baptized.
Someone may like the simplicity of "the sinners prayer". But, you can be sure, Peter's way (of course God's way), will get you into Christ.
As for me, I'm not taking any chances with my soul, or anyone elses.
Galatians 1:8-9
But even if we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other Gospel to you than the one we have preached to you, let him be acursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be acursed.
In the strongest terms used anywhere in His word, God tell us His assessment and penalty for those who would take it upon themselves to pervert His holy Word. "..may they be acursed.”
"The sinner's prayer".....from God or from men. Someone may say, "YOU CAN'T JUDGE ANYONE!" When it comes to matters of faith, for the christian, YOU HAD BETTER JUDGE.
CONTINUE TO STUDY. AND FIND THE TRUE CHURCH.
God bless you

You hit everything except you must also recieve the gift on the Holy Ghost (ACTS 2:38 says then Peter said unto them repent and be baptised everyone of you for the remission of sins and ye shall recieve the gift of the holy ghost.) THe Holy ghost is a sign that you are saved and you MUST have this to enter into the kingdom of God. Keep on witnessing. GOD BLESS

You can quote all the scripture you want, but I'm Jewish and Jesus is NOT my Messiah and never will be. And now I'm going to be called "close-minded" because I won't accept the Christian version of reality. And if Jesus loves me so much, I feel sorry for him because it's an unrequited love.

I settle for Jesus as a messenger no longer as son of God. God isn't linked with any worldy attributes and we are able to in easy terms draw close his divinity by characteristics sush as "All Merciful, maximum Gracious" I do commend you on your devotion nevertheless, even no count if that isn't the comparable concept as mine. yet how are you able to suspect that one and all Christians are purely forgiven for ALL sins, and that one harmless guy had to go through the sins of all mankind; thats no longer God's love, that'd purely be injust. i'm hoping you may a minimum of see my facet of the story; consistent with probability you may examine the Quran; the undemanding concepts are not too off from Christianity (as that could be a derivitive of it) and it makes extra experience to me :-D God bless! peace

I have already accepted Jesus but, don't fool everyone into they will go to heaven because 144,000 converted Jews will go into heaven. The rest of us saved and chosen will enjoy the new earth which is a heavenly realm ruled and governed by Jesus himself. Paradise it will be. You are doing great work, so don't stop doing a wonderful thing. Just make sure you don't misinform the ones you are trying to save. God Bless and take care.

How lame to try and save in here, how truly lame.
You sound like a parrot repeating the same silly thing over and over and over and over
No real argument, nothing of substance, just silly crap
If there was a Jesus he would be embarrassed
