I have 4 3 and 1/2 week old yorkie puppies. they are all under 2 lbs. closer to 1and 1/2 lbs. most of them will eat about 1-2 teaspoons of cereal/milk/ground puppy food mix. How much and how often should I feed them?

At that age, they should eat all that they want, at least 5 times per day..As they become about 8 weeks, it can be cut back to 4 times per day...
.Excellent opportunity for potty training while they are very young..Take them all out for a few minutes, as soon as they have eaten, from the time they are 4 1/2 -5 weeks old...You will be blessing the new family with potty trained puppies..Most of my pups are potty trained by 8 weeks, and always by 12 weeks..

You should feed them as much as they will eat in 10 or 15 minutes then take the rest up. They should probably eat every 4 hrs or so at that age, moving them down to about 3 feedings a day at 7 1/2 to 8 wks which is the soonest you should sell or give them away.

They are very small and most likely need to be fed at least four or more times per day.
I would let hem have all they will eat in about 20 minutes and then pick up food until next feeding.
When they get older and start nibbling on dry food just put it down and let the have as much as they want to eat all the time.

Hi I have a pug small breard dogs. Some dogs will sit and eat as much as you let them some will stop when hungry. The 2 teaspoons is good twice a day. Breakfast & Dinner. Sometimes you can call a vet or petsmart and they will help you also.
Good luck

I fed mine 3 times a day and I think like 1/4 cup a time. Not sure.
If you buy dog food it might say on the bag. Or you can go to a pet store and ask.
