That is unacceptable...My advice would be to report the incident to Child Protective Services... a loving father would never do this to his children... Good Luck...

We take cold showers when we go camping, and that's is the only time I felt it to be wonderful. Nude in the wilderness, all kinds of emotions to undergo. When you go to the club the swimming pool is set at about 82 degrees, because it is to cause you to burn calories. Unless he was trying to make a point, that all the hot water is gone by the time he gets in, or some people never get heated water, I feel then he should be glad to share in on the experience. Turn the tables, and find the advantages to your point!

hahahahahahhahahahahahah!!!!!! funny stuff!
I don't know if cold showers are actually good for you, but I don't think they're bad, either, just uncomfortable! lol I guess he's trying to make a point? Use too much hot water? Spend too much time in the shower/bathroom?
His house, guess you better learn the lesson being taught very quickly to resolve the issue!
Good luck! keep warm!

Your father is correct--cold showers are good for you!
Your father probably wants to teach you a lesson--what a smart man! Endure the cold showers as best as you can!

rofl....... sorry not funny but ok it is.. as a mom who pays the bills I cringe every month when the bills come in.... but suggest to him that it can be turned *down* and not off... and remind him too that fuel as just took a nose dive and is down now.... cool water is healthy, cold is NOT.... I have a low normal and cold water can and does send me into a freeze zone, really painful..... so be respectful to dad and just kinda talk the lower the temp thing to him tonite at meal time....... God bless

Good for him. Maybe now you'll learn to take shorter showers and appreciate the hot water when you do have it. Quit whining and learn from the experience.

((giggle)) Completely agree with "No White Flag" above.
Someone said call child protection... gimme a break, it's not like he put them in a bathtub of cold water and made them stay there to get hypothermia... he taught his kids a lesson (more parents should put their foot down!), and with a bit of humour I might add (they'll be laughing and reminiscing about it someday!) .

Sounds like a masochist, or ... he's overrun in a house with two many women, haha. Either way, if he's paying the bills, it's his call. Get a biker boyfriend and piss him off in return! (Just kidding!)
