For every human year it is 7 years for animals.
This would make your cat 35 years old in animal years.

Five.
In human equivalence, about 35.
Here's a chart you can use:
cat = Human
1 = 5
2 = 23
3 = 27
4 = 31
5 = 35
6 = 39
7 = 43
8 = 47
9 = 51
10 = 55
11 = 59
12 = 63
13 = 67
14 = 71
15 = 75
16 = 79
17 = 83
18 = 87
19 = 91
20 = 95
21 = 99
22 = 103
After the first couple years they age about four times as fast as we do.
The normal life expectancy of the domestic cat is about seventeen.

The first year of a cat is equal to 7 human years after that it's 4 years to every human year. Your cat is 23 years old in cat age.

Cats are supposedly 6/1 with humans. Dogs generally 7/1. But, with dogs, the more working a dog does, like sheep herding dogs and working dogs, they age FASTER! This may be true with cats. But nobody has actually seen a cat WORK! LOL

In cat years, 5, in people years between 30-35. Keep your cat indoors and he will live longest. Feed good food and keep water down.
