look, my bf and i have been on and off for 14 months and at times you feel that you are sick of this person. also, you cannot trust this person, are doubting if there is actual love or bs love also known as lust, if you are getting in a lot of arguments all the time, if all you two do is to pin-point the wrong doing of each other, where you have more worse times than bad or if you think that your other half is not loyal-that he might be cheating, then i advise you to get out of the relationship before something bad will happen. listen to what others have to tell you-close friends as well as family -since they see things that we ignore such as all the warning signs and red flags along the way and also listen to your guts.

Weigh the positives versus the negatives in the relationship. If the positives outweigh the negatives, its worth a fight, if not, you may need to do some serious thinking about where you think the relationship will be in the next year or five years.. If your future analysis doesn't seem promising then you know, its time to end it. Good luck in whatever your outcome is.

It's really hard to know. If you don't want to try anymore, don't let some guy lecture you into it. I was with my boyfriend for 6 1/2 years. We had several breakups, but were trying to make things work for the "last" time when we (not intentionally) got pregnant...fast forward to when baby is 2 months old. The guy just leaves! Just like that! Not to scare you, but to encourage you to listen to your feelings.

if you are asking this question you are probably already out of the relationship in your heart. talk to each other. 5 years is a long time but think about it : are you really in love? or just used to the person by now? chances are your just used to each other. because if you were really in love you wouldnt have to ask if u should give up on trying anymore.

You are three years over the limit. You should have left him two years ago Three only if there was mitigating circumstances. A man who wants you will be so anxious to marry you. By the second year he starts seeing your faults and he will bolt! He has been with you too long and I am sure if you are having sex with him, you are old hat. sorry!

when you dont "feel" anymore, when you dont cry in fights, when you just yell back, when you feel drained of your emotions and you just dont care, when you expect to fight about something all the time, and when you look at him you have no more want to kiss him or make love to him or even touch him, thats when its enough.
