I cannot seem to find any men who are mature, with no baggage, ones that have never been married before (I have not as yet been married), no kids, "normal", no drug problems, no recovering alcoholics, users, abusers, codependents, losers, etc. I think you get my drift. I want to find a nice, kind, sincere, loyal, working, maybe a little easy on the eyes man who I can get to know and hopefully settle down with. Committed and monogamous would help, too. It is really tough out there; I live in Miami, Florida where the women outnumber the men about 4 to 1. I tried in church but most of the men are already married or too old or too young. Please help. Any helpful suggestions, guys! Thank you.

It really sounds like you may need to re-locate. I live in the mid-west, in a very rural area. I would have to say the ratio here is about 3 men to every woman. I know several never married, or (long ago) divorced men in that age group. Some are really great guys, and we are always trying to "hook them up"...though the problem being there are no unmarried local women their age.
They are farmers...and love the land and most would never move. This makes it a very hard life style for a city transplant. Anyway, If you wouldn't mind living in small town America mid-west farming community...married to a corn farmer...come on up, there are plenty of good, (handsome) men to go around!

well for one no one is perfect and at the age your requesting chances are they have had a life which leaves baggage we all do. your also seeking in an age group where these men are feeling age creep up on them and are looking for women who are young and who find them attractive so they do not feel so old. I do not want to put a damper on your finding a man but you can not honestly think that your choices of finding a good man who doesnt have baggage who has never been married who doesnt have a bad habit, who is looking to settle down, who easy on the eyes and who isnt a mamas boy, is going to be easy. tough enough to find a good man who is faithful alone all what your looking for. and what makes things even harder for you is finding one who thinks your what he is wanting. although I do wish you luck

I hate to say it, but somebody has to. Age 45 and up men have already had kids, been married, or have something wrong with them. Life happens, if a guy came your way that hasn't lived (and made mistakes) then he's probably got something wrong with him.
Think about it, if he's so perfect, why hasn't any other lady bagged him? You are describing Peter Pan, a permasingle. If he hasn't tried marriage yet, he's not going to. Chances are he's chasing all those twentysomething girls.
I think you need to widen the search a little or prepare to look a long, long, time.

it is all trial and error, you could possibly find the one you are looking for right here online, and then again it may happen while you are out having lunch.....be patient and be the best part of Creation you can be.....the one you are searching for will find you then.....there are mature men out there facing the same dilemma as you....you are not alone.
